bug@dodgingwindshields.com Bio I am a Queer, Disabled ASL/English/(sometimes) Spanish interpreter living in Portland, Oregon with my parter, The Ruling Reddcub, and two cats who both suffer from deplorable excesses of personality (one is Transgender and the other is Disabled like me). I am a student of sociolinguistics and write extensively on issues of disability, identity, language and the intersections and overlaps among these topics and others.
When I am not interpreting, you can find me teaching workshops on various professional development topics for ASL/English interpreters, as well as on topics related to the field of disability studies. If I am not doing one of those two things (or writing...or reading), I am probably playing World of Warcraft.
